Jochem van Dijk

After Sandbox, our 2016 set of improvisations, we searched for compositions specifically written for bassoon and bass guitar, and we literally couldn’t find anything – not one. So the idea came together that the world needs a book of compositions for this great instrument combination. We asked our composer friends and here is the result: the world’s first set of composed music for bassoon and bass guitar, as far as we know – a wildly different set of pieces full of surprises and discoveries.
